
The Hydrobowl has been running in Dayton at Eastwood lake since 1996, now known as the APBA Dayton record Run today this is a surveyed course where records can be broken. The racers will be trying to run as fast as they can to reach top speed as they run for the record.
About the Race: World record hydroplane racing in Dayton, Ohio at the Hydrobowl. The boat races starts at 9 years old and up. You will see Outboard Powerboats going in speeds over 100 miles per hour, attempting to set new world speed records on water. The entire family will enjoy the races. August 28th and 29th Racing starts at 9:00 am on both days. $2.00 per person, children under 5 are free, or $5.00 per carload. Proceeds go to benefit The Dayton Children’s Hospital.
About the broadcast: You’ll be able to tune in live for 3 days of racing capturing every heat of racing leading to the end.
For those unable to watch the live feed, the will be archived for viewing at your convenience. You can enjoy the races at your leisure for 30 days. For those who would like to relive each heat of the weekend, you can purchase and watch all the action once again.
For the nominal charge of $30.00, just over $1 per day you can join announcer Bobby Laws, and John Ruff for a weekend of racing. But as they say, wait there’s more. TKDS Sports Network is the broadcaster of the NBRA Long Course Nationals in conjunction with the USTS in Centralia, IL, and The races from DePue. 2021 APBA PRO Nationals those two races are available for watching, your initial purchase is for a 30-day membership and both fall within those 30 days.
