Champions Park Lake is excited to host the Unified American Power Boat Association (APBA) Outboard Performance Craft (OPC) National Championships Aug. 6-8, 2021 during Wake the Lake 5. As a unified nationals, we will offer an opportunity for every class in OPC to race for a National Championship. There are 14 classes in OPC and each will have an opportunity to register and run for a National Championship. Classes’ eligible range from Tri-hulls to Formula One to Mod U.

“It’ll be exciting to bring the Unified APBA OPC Nationals back together,” stated Dana Potts, promoter of Champions Park Lake & Wake the Lake 5. “It’s an honor to have our venue be selected by Bill Gohr and the APBA OPC Commission and we’ll work hard to put on the best National Championships to date. If you’re racing an outboard in North America, Springfield, OH is a destination you want on your calendar this year. We’re not only hosting the OPC Nationals but also the APBA Stock/Mod/Jr Nationals July 12-18. Talk about a Summer of Outboard racing,” summarized Dana Potts.
